I rated this book 3 stars because the story was interesting, but I'd rate it 2 stars for the writing.
This crime happened in a town where I lived, so it was fun reading about the local places that I know, however it's quite apparent the writer doesn't live here, nor did he do enough research on the area. He wrote about the towns from a visitor's eye and didn't quite get it right. I was annoyed by that, considering the book is "true crime" and not "based on actual eve...more

read more like a "based on the true crime story" book, rather than a "true crime" book. not sure how i felt about the writing.
Great read! what a tangled web of deceit, lies and heatbreaking senseless murder...
