Cliff Shakespeare's Minor Plays

The term minor in no way diminishes the importance of works by so towering a literary figure as William Shakespeare. The thirteen titles in this book carry the stamp of greatness no less than Hamlet, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, Othello and Macbeth . Each has its contribution to make to the Elizabethan dramatic canon.

I'll admit it...... I'm in the dark about some of The Bard's minor works. But now, when I decide to go after one of the "minor" plays, I know where to turn. This book offers scene by scene analyses to keep you up to speed with the action. I recently read "Timon of Athens" for the first time, and with the aid of this volume I was able to focus on the play itself, instead of having to reread a passage over and over. Cliff's Notes Rock!

Plus...I got it for 75 centavos at the local thrift store!
