A really terrific find! There aren't many books on Madagascar out there to begin with, but Drysdale, and her husband, Richard, "go with flow" with the situations encountered, traveling through a culture chock full of "fady" (taboos) - which can (and often do) change from place to place.
Helena Drysdale was born in London and has a degree in History and Art History from Trinity College, Cambridge.
