I love this book. My dad read it to me when I was little and when ever I asked (even after I could read it myself). To this day I hear his voice when I try to read it.
The story is fabulous as are the illustrations. Both give an ever so slight nod to God the great creator.

A true must read for every child! Actually it should be brought out every spring and read to the children or the young at heart of the family. It celebrates the beauty of spring and the need for traditions of family. I should warn everyone...get out your hankies!!
Great book!! A childhood favorite read to my siblings and me by our wonderful Granny. Makes me a little tearful remembering those tender moments with her.
Another classic Disney story!
this is one of my all time most favorite books in the entire world!! it is now out of print. my grandfather use to read it to me and i look forward to sharing it with my kids for years to come!!
AS A CHILD, I LOVED THIS! Especially the vivid colors and the idea of painting the forest.
My sister did a mural based on this book and it was really great.
