Overall, the informal tone of the book is refreshing compared to other Spanish learning language books. It offers conversation lines appropriate for friendship more than consumerism (don't worry there are bits of that). It is just too short. The cultural asides were fun. But if you have an intermediate level of Spanish, this book does not do much in the way of new.
