I enjoyed this novel. It's one of the rare times it seems that romance flees from the English ton and the Scottish Highlands. I like how it seems somewhat like a fairy tale and Fenris was definitely a character that I could love along with the heroine. Tortured heroes are so attractive! I read a review of this on Smart Bitches Who Love Trashy Books and kind of expected it to be better. Really, it was a cute, quick read, but I hated that the heroine said things like "bugbear." She wasn't a very well-drawn character and the stupid names like "bugbear" were nearly too much for me.
