In a steam-punk futuristic world the beautiful dancer Danya seems too perfect and pure. He's unlucky to have an obsessed fan who is also a cynical journalist. As everyone else who has reviewed this book said, the synopsis on the back is way off. There's no 'cynicism' and there's very little 'stalking.' Also, other than the fact that there are *ahem* robot servants, and a slightly Victorian aspect to the clothing, there is nothing 'steampunk' about this. That said, it's a good book, and has a surprisingly solid plot for yaoi manga. (It is pretty explicit, but if you're reading Dany & Dany, you know that.)

The art is excellent and consistent. Bishōne

On a cruise, famous ballet dancer Danya (blond) will be performing. Also on the ship is investigative reporter Patrick who is accompanied by his android Ed. The two guys hook up and start seeing each other after the trip, but Danya's mentor/manager is not thrilled as he's involved in some shady business and he doesn't want Patrick to find out. Danya also has his own secret. The manager is determined to separate them, no matter how. *cue evil laughter* They said this steam punk but it seemed more ...more

This graphic novel ... Is the cutest thing. It sends me flying with smilies. It honestly has everything. There's romance, action, drama, all that jazz. Danya and Patrick's love story comes quickly, but the heart and love that each of them have is so inspiring. Love like that is always a trigger. The art is beautiful the setting is crazy creative, and the characters are well put together and things don't seem to happen to fast or are confusing. Though I do warn those -- this is a mature book, ...more

Drawing on the steampunk genre, one replete with Victorian style and mechanical devices, this is a story of an android gifted with human emotions. Danya is an android dancer who yearns for something more than the sterile world of art given to him by his owner. But striving to gain love places him in danger from his human partner: no one knows Danya is an android except his owner and exposure could mean dismantling. Will his human lover betray him if he finds out the truth? Will his obsessed ...more

I really like most of the characters in this book because they were approachable and nice. I think the synopsis of the book (found on goodreads and on the back cover) is completely wrong and misleading and when I read the cover after the book I was appalled at how untrue it was. There is no fear or sick obsession with either character--just love between two entities. There is very little plot in this book (as in other Dany & Dany books) and is very explicit. I might pick this up again if I ...more

I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I had given up on reading Yaoi, as it just isn't for me. This one looked a bit different, and the Steampunk element had me curious. I'm glad I spent the time reading it after all! The characters were not the usual pathetic simpering self loathing Yaoi boys, which is what drove me from the genre! A cute love story with a cool twist, and throw in the Steampunk element, it was a lot of fun!

kindle edition.
Dany & Dany titles were harder than hell to find in print, so I was thrilled to find a few available on amazon.
Ballet meets steampunk meets androids meets romance.
Probably the hottest hot tub AND virtual reality sex scenes you will ever see in a comic or manga.
Beck
Sort of a very classic steampunk romance, where the leads happen to both be (very pretty) men. Short and sweet.
