Easy Road To Riches

TRIPLE the pleasure. LITTLE BLACK GIRL LOST 3, is a sure fire hit as Miss Johnnie Wise brings about more thriller, bedlam and slaughter. The Sentinel has printed an article encompassing seventeen-year-old Johnnie Wise and her connections to several unsolved murders, her white bloodline, mob alliances and her well-known money trail. With the news comes about a gargantuan scandal that just may cost a lot more than she can afford to pay.

It's Christmas 1953 in New Orleans. It's b...more

The third book of the little girl lost is still exciting and full of surprises. The difference in this book is the overall tone. The tone is a lot more dark and serious. Very different from the first 2 books. The story is.more complicated for jonnie as her life keeps starting an up roar in the white community. With out spoiling thr story I can say is the only descriptive sex scenes are bad ones and there are a couple. For me that is unnecessary. The author ends tjr story of jonnie with giving yo...more

Johnnie Wise Is Back Again!

"Move On" were the last words that Johnnie could remember Lucas saying as she prepared to deal with life without him. As Johnnie deals with her heartache, will her past threaten the freedom that she has taken for granted? Can Johnnie stop the domino effect before it's too late?

Napoleon knows that if his "crew" catches a hint that he is in love with the beautiful negress, he could be killed. Will Napoleon finally get his hands around his prize possession?

KLJ kept in stride with this book. I enjoyed this one as much as i enjoyed the first two. I think of the three I most enjoyed 1 and 3. I do feel it was a little rushed with the epilogue and Johnnie giving the back story. He could have gotten two more books out of that. I'm interested to see what #4 is going to be about since it's supposed to be the story of Johnnie's grandmother and she gave the background of her in this book. Perhaps he did it as a segue into #4.

I read this book right after i closed lbgl 2, i didn't stop till i finished it, it was good, then i was let down by the ending, it just fell flat for me, and when i guess johnny was talking about what happened after the end i was just disappointed, i will not read lgbl 4.

I really loved this book! So happy that everything worked out for Johnnie in the end! I also love that there is some historical fiction in these books. It gives a small insight to what the south was like in the 50's as far as inter-racial relations and what feelings could have been on both sides. The twists and turns in these book really want to keep you reading. I am excited to read the next 2 books to see what happened before Johnnie Wise, now that we know her life story.

This book concluded the story of Johnny Wise and it was pretty explosive. I thoroughly enjoyed reading through all of the twists and turns.
