This is a fun story in the Toot & Puddle series, originally by Holly Hobbie. The story has a fun summer theme and I love that the two friends solved the mystery. Toot's trip to Easter Island was a bit random and not incorporated well into the story, but it's fairly typical for the series. The illustrations are colorful, cartoonish and sweet. We enjoyed reading this book together.
