Great time travel western..

My daughter was always telling me to watch some TV show, I’ve forgotten the name but I do remember that everything about it was dirty. Even inside the police station was dirty looking, most of the characters in the show were dirty. Anyway, that’s what I thought of this book. Doc’s place was a filthy mess and Reese and Sam lived in a livery, the people smelled like they never bathed, men and women alike. Everything was just too dirty for me. It was a good story about Qu

I listened to the audio version of this book, and if it weren't for the fact that the narrator was mediocre at best, I would have really enjoyed it a lot. I read books in the Blaze line periodically, and while they're generally ok, they usually aren't anything special. This one seemed to have more substance to it than the average Blaze. I liked the storyline and the characters and will definitely continue with the series (this is book 1 of the Stolen From Time series), but will probably switch ...more

Almost *3.5 stars*

This is a short sweet, but somewhat abrupt story. There were parts of it that didn't feel complete, but overall it was OK. I didn't particularly like the ending, even with the epilogue. It was one of the abrupt parts.

This time travel story started out good with Dr Reese cleaning her deceased grandma's attic then falling back to 1876. She escapes a brothel with the help of cowboy Sam who has a past. Some pondering and near the end I started guessing possible outcomes and felt my ideas were better than actual ending.

I really liked this book. I was looking for it, but didn't know what it was called. I remember reading the next on in this miniseries. I liked the fast-paced scenes and time-travel angle. I always did like a happy ending. I don't know if there are more books besides the Sam and Jack ones, I'll have to look into that, but these are great books. I would definitely read this book again. Enjoy

Too short format for theme left out a lot of (IMO) necessary pages of adaptation to conditions, etc.

I think I know now why I couldn't remember this book. Egads! It was okay. Honestly, I think the narrator ruined it for me.
