Shelves: children-s-books
This is a cute picture book that uses caterpillars to teach the concept of big, bigger and biggest. The graphics are colorful and the story has a great rhythm to it. The board book format poses two problems - first the caterpillars are made with yarn (children love to pull on those strings) and second the butterflies are pop-up (again children are prone to pull on them). Also there isn't much of a size difference between the bigger and biggest butterflies. Other than that it is a very cute book!

Why is it called the three little catepillars if the book is about big/bigger/biggest?

Other than that, the usage of 3-D pipe cleaners for catepillars is cute.

The kids loved the interactive aspect of the book
