This book is all about sex and relationship advice from an African American perspective. Some of it is in Q&A format and some of it consists of essays by the author who doesn't seem to have any training as a sex therapist, but who does write sexy novels.

I really like that the author stresses communication in her advice. I don't like that she says things that aren't true, like a woman can get pregnant 365 days of the year. (A woman can only get pregnant when one of her ripe eggs a...more

A nice informational book for those who aren't well versed in relationships, sexual behavior, and so forth, but if you've read sex education/reference books before or are just very intrigued by the subject and well read on it "G-Spot" is nothing new. This book is especially good for the African-American audience it is targeted to. Zane gives logical and thoughtful advice to all the e-mails she lists and divvys the chapters up between sex, relationships, commitment, adultery, etc.

I bought this for $3 or so at Borders - and it was worth that. I'm not familiar with Zane's work, and bought it as an impulse, wanting some non-serious short story style read - and this book delivered. I can't say whether I'd seriously recommend it for someone looking for love and relationship advice, but I would recommend it for light, fun, summer reading.

This book is very educational to the sex life. Anything you can think of about sex is in this book. The people that write to her are very funny when they talk about their mates. She can really help your sex life by reading this book.

Zane makes you feel so comfortable with your sexuality and in your own skin, I'm a Zane fan so as long as she wrote it alone I'll read it.

I'm not sure if this book is supposed to be funny, but I laughed through most of it.

I picked this book up for reseach for a play I'm writing. I didn't learn much - but a lot of people would! Zane does seem like a very interesting and important author. It will be interesting to check out some of her fiction.
