This book ended a lot better than I thought it would. For once, a VC Andrews book had an ending that was completely happy. I admit, some of the characters didn't turn out exactly as I thought they would, and mid-book I was more irate with the characters because things weren't going the way I wanted them to, but it ended very well. On to the next book in the series.

Overall this was another good book by VC Andrews, and very typical of the books she writes. I have been enjoying this series very much. This book was probably the least believable of the series and the end really got rushed too much. I think it needed at least another 50 pages for the ending to play out in better detail.

The landry series is a wonderful drama series by vc andrews. she knows how to twist a tail of deception lies lust love drama sadness fear and many other emotions. you will know the main character as if she was you... quite enjoyable!

I loved the Landry series and this novel is a perfect addition to the series. I love how it goes into details about the twins and their relationships in and out of the family. V.C. Andrews at her best!

LIKED HOW DAPHENE HAD DIED, DID NOT LIKE HOW GISSEL DIED, WANTED HER TO EVENTUALLY BE THE KIND OF SISER RUBY WOULD HAVE WANTED. I WISH THAT PAUL WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND SOME ONE TO TRUELY LOVE.

I really like V.C. Andrews despite the fact that her audience is young adult. I find her Landry series very captivating, especially her ability to bring a backwards Louisiana/Cajun family to life beyond the typical stereotype. I also like the mixture of French and English the characters used, and I think the book does a great job painting a picture of the Louisiana bayou and its way of life. Besides that, the book is full of twists and turns, one of Andrews's strengths.

I liked this book, but the old saying that goes somthing like this (what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve}. There was deception upon deception piled on in this story. Two of the characters die in this book. Is there a happy ending this time? Read the book.

Very last Andrews book I read, and I don't recall much of it. The same patterns of her books were getting a little too repetitious at this time, so I just decided to quit after this one.
