This book is very similar to the first one I read which was much further into the series...Jade and Jeopardy. The title is a dead giveaway to the center of the novel, but I intend to read the rest, in order to see how the characters evolve and see if it remains of interest to me. I am afraid that even though this is good "LDS" fiction, (if you aren't LDS, you won't get it) she may continue to use the same template over and over. This one had a plot that had a couple of nice although not entirely...more

This is an amazing YOUNG ADULT book, yes a YOUNG ADULT book! All you adults reading this book series really need to stop giving low reviews just because it's a little far fetched, I have this book in my junior high/middle school library!

Set in a modern day world with a "future world" house. I'm sure it's just some monitoring equipment, speakers in every room, and motion sensors everywhere, but still pretty cool. There's a LOT more romance and Mormonism, which is AWESOME! And the witch doctor is...more

I got wrapped up in the relationship of Allison and Bart; it was a romantic story along with the mystery. This is the book where they first come into contact with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which added interest for me because of my membership in the church. This was a sweet story, full of excitement, too.

Maybe... 3.7 stars.

This story seemed a bit fantastic, meaning, a bit on the unrealistic side.

Then again, i've never had unlimited funds and don't understand how fancy technology really is so, what do I know?

I still totally enjoyed the book and read it all in one day.

It picks up just where Emeralds leaves off. I stayed at the pool for 7 hours b/c I couldn't put it down long enough to walk home.

I know Lynn personally and she is an amazing lady and author. Her books are clean, exciting and you can't put them down.
Michelle Christensen
Fun, but very far fetched! Not nearly as good as the first book. Everything that happens does so within a week. Wow!
Courtney
it wasnt as interesting as the other ones i have read. it just got kind of old. sad to say but it did.
Carol
LDS fiction with lots of action. Suspend reality, make popcorn and you have great weekend entertainment.

This book picked up right where the first left off. I could not put it down and again am done with it in less than 2 days.

I thought this was a good book, but it's not as good as the first. This one was kind of repetative.
Mimi Herbert
Have read the entire series - great reads. Can't go wrong with any of her books.
Sophie
OH MY GODNESS!!! She really knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Rachel VanBibber
This book was just a repeat of the others, I was waiting for it to end.
Annissa
Another fast paced mystery with lots of twists and turns.
Karla

I started with this onesince the 1st (Emeralds and Espionage) wasn't in at the Library- I was hooked immediately! I think I've read at least the first one before, but right now I really love them! If you want a fun lds action romance, these are super! Allison is a magnet for impossible amounts of trouble, and is always diving in headfirst into more, but I think they're sweet! I love them! Gotta add them to my collection I think....
Melissa
These are fun fast passed good reads. The only problem I had was that the series went on too long.16 and up.
Kaylene
I love this book. I read the first one too, and am going to read the rest of the series, but haven't yet. Lynn Gardner is an excellent author. Suspense, romance, I think it has everything.

I really enjoyed this series. It was very fun, exciting, and romantic. The romance is between a Husband and Wife which makes it even more fun to read. (for us LDS people)

Didn't love this one as much as the first. Stories are always better when they begin. Scarlotti freaked me out as an 11 yr old and subconsciously, I think he still does.
Dara
love this author! Check before starting this series and start at the beginning. This book is not the beginning. My teenage son even likes these books!
Jana
I didn't like the dark tone and fear that seemed to be more present in here than the other books, but still an enjoyable read.
Rayni
Allison Allen & her new husband have their honeymoon "bugged." This is the 2nd book in the series, I didn't finish the series.
Tangi
