Prince Etcheon and the Secret of the Ancient is an intriguing journey of a prince destined to saved his imperiled kingdom. JoAnn Arnold's writing is picturesque, each page a new beautifully painted canvas. It did take a bit of time for the book to get to the exciting parts, but it is due to the fact that a lot is required to prepare Prince Etcheon for the future and you meet some incredible characters along the way. It is also interesting to watch the prince evolve and grow as he is being readie ...more

I liked this book but I think my kids will probably like it better than I did. Wizards, talking creatures, battles...yes, my kids will really like this book. Good conquers Evil.

Enjoying this one but it is taking me forever to read. Why I don't know it's just 300 pages but it's not a quick read.
I liked Jo Ann Arnold's other books better than this one, but it was interesting to read.
