A surprisingly satisfying collection of 17 stories (although a little steam is lost in the final two), with focus divided into two sections: 'the students' and 'the faculty'. Overall the writing is quite strong and, considering the volume's single theme of the world of academia, the points of attack and departure are wonderfully varied.
