My 4 year old and seven year old love this book. It is about a little girl who lives close to the zoo and visits weekly. She tells the animal keepers that if anything ever goes wrong they can bring the animals to her house. And, what do you know, they take her up on it. This is a story that really sparks the imagination.

This is my 2-year-old's favorite book of the moment. Animal lover Leslie and her mom visit the zoo every Saturday and she is desperate to have the animals live at her house. She tells each of the animal keepers that "if anything ever goes wrong at the zoo," the animals can come stay with her. Well, one day the zoo is flooded, and one by one, the zebras, elephants, monkeys, alligator, ostriches, lion, etc., do come to stay at Leslie's house. Charming!
