Surrender is the reason I am glad I found Brenda Jackson. I am a sucker for a true romance novel. In Surrender, Ashton Sinclair decides he wants Netherland Brooms and in true military precison, he goes after her.
His methods, which verged on stalking, would have won over any other woman in no time, but Netherland's admission to never settle for "military" challenged his plan.

This was such a sweet book. Ashton sees Nettie and falls head over heels for her. The great thing is Nettie is not svelte and model-gorgeous. She's a little surprised that Ashton is so attracted to her. She's used to guys seeing her as the cuddly friend type. Another problem with the blooming courtship is that she swore off military men since she grew up a military brat. Ashton is a military guy, so he has a plan of attack. I really liked how tried and true Ashton was. He refused to give up...more
This book goes hand in hand with what I preach concerning being found. It gives the prime example of a male who finds his wife and will stop at nothing to get her. It displays spirituality as he sets on a quest to become one with her through spirit. It's a good read!
OMG! This is as great book. I am realy getting hooked on Brenda Jackson's books. Ashton Sinclair and Nettie(Netherland)love story is just to die for. The Madaris Novels are awesome. You feel a close relationship with each family member and their friends.
I loved the lead male. He was so patient waiting for the woman he knew to be his mate for life. The chemistry was great. I would read it again.
Probably my favorite Brenda Jackson book!
Nettie and Ashton! Who couldn't love the two! I loved how much faith Ashton had in Nettie's ability to have children; his faith in her reminded me so much of Hebrews 11:1. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen! I really enjoyed their story, although Ashton was a bit of a stalker, even if he was a loving one.
i would like to read it
