I am biased because I am a geographer. However, I learned more from this book than any book I have ever read, specifically, about world affairs. The book covers many diverse topics throughout starting from the rise and development of nationalism and ending with establishing peace. Each chapter is an indiviual essay written by a leading figure in that area of research.
