Possibly the best collection of the Mutts strip so far. Actually, I've enjoyed every single Mutts book I've ever read, but this one stands out, both because it covers a very creative period, because it covers recurrent subjects and issues (shelter stories, the all-knowing Sphinx, Prosphero the cat), and because it includes Sunday strips in full colour (something which previous collections didn't do, except for the The Art of Patrick McDonnell, a wonderful hardcover book which is not a proper com

I simply love Mutts, so I can only give them five stars! I really enjoyed the whole book, but most of all, as always, the "shelter stories". I'm still wondering when is Patrick McDonnell going to set Guard Dog free, that'll be one of the best moments of Mutts!
