My mother-in-law is an immigrant from Denmark so we have a lot of Danish traditions around the holidays. I could never get my recipes quite right but when I found this cookbook everything changed! My Red Cabbage tastes like grandma's and my Ris a la Mande comes out creamy. The recipes have beautiful photos the directions are broken down and so easy to follow and are very tasty. There is such a variety of dishes in this cookbook that every Thursday is Danish night at our dinner table.
