Father Del is a man emerging from a traumatic loss in his life. He feels ready to find a partner to share his life with, but the search isn't going to be an easy straightforward path for him. He is a man with professional obligations that extend well beyond the hours of a regular 9 - 5 office. As such, he must balance his many public, professional duties with his own personal needs along with those of the women in his social circles and his friendships. Father Del's story does not disappoint. ...more

My dad wrote this book, so it was interesting for me to recognize elements of his own life experience combined with the fictional plot and characters. The book gives insights into the duties of an Episcopal priest, including parts of the job that many people might not normally think about. The sequel, _Looking for Home_, has now been published and I've just started reading it. It doesn't appear to be on Goodreads, though.
