These books must have come out after I was young enough to read them. Or maybe I never read books on this level, come to think of it. I started with Nancy Drew.
Anyway, I liked this book. I would recommend it for 6-9ish kids. It had a fun mystery that the smart child solved. It was entirely appropriate.

Once again, Cam goes running off to chase a criminal while the wise Eric Shelton tells her not to. The book would have gotten five stars, but Cam just keeps taking these ridiculous risks! A kid-book character should have a better sense of self-preservation, methinks.
I read this with Noah. Cute book series. Perfect for a child making the transition to chapter books.

Good for early readers, grades 1-3.
Cam's school is doing a school play and all of the money that people give to the ticket sellers is stolen. It turns out that they get the money back because Cam has a memory camera in side her head and she remembers three boys who came in and were not interested in the play and that is how she finds the person who stole the money and he got arrested.
In this book, they have a school play and Cam is supposed to help with the money they get. But there's supposed to be lots and lots of money in there and there's only $4.00 in there! So she starts solving the mystery. And she already has a clue. She knows that the thief of the money has blue sneaker shoes...
If u want new shoes, get em ur self.
