Meg Cabot (Goodreads Author)
Princess Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo may seem the luckiest girl ever. She's a princess, for starters. She also lives in New York City. And while she's no supermodel, mirrors do not crack at her reflection. Best of all, she finally has a boyfriend.

Princess in L♥ve By: Meg Cabot.
Meg Cabot did a really good job with all the princess books, well in my opinion she did. I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved that Mia was confused about love because well really mostly all girls are. Mia wants to find the right boy for her but she dosent know who. She has a boyfriend already but she knows that he's not the one for her, but then on the other hand she is really good friends with Michael Moscovitz aka her bestfriend's brother, anyways she thi...more

Princess in love...obviously this is a book about a girl, Mia who likes a guy. Mia has a boyfriend which she doesn't really like because she's got a guy in her heart who only thinks of her as a kid. She spends her time becoming a princess, living in genovia, and dealing with a widowed mother who's going out with her algebra teacher. So much crazy things going on with her life, so how's she going to ever be with true love? Recommended to people who wants to find out!
This book was so...nice. The storyline was fairly good and I enjoyed very much what happened throughout the book. Mia is a pretty...annoying voice to read, mainly because she's a fifteen year old girl confused about love... and also because she's the heir of a country. What really made me enjoy the book much more were the final pages. They had me laughing and in some parts, my heart was pounding to see what would happen. It's a great book to read when you just want to read somthing for the fun o...more
First a note about audio books:
Having just started classes, I wasn't really planning on reading much outside of school and these books weren't high on my to-read list. Shortly after starting school a friend of mine mentioned she was reading these books on her blog. Since December when Dan got me a PRS (Portable Reading System), or eBook reader, I found the ABQ Digital Library and have been checking out digital copies of some books I've been interested in. The formats available range from eBooks...more

I actually enjoyed this book very much. There are jsut so many laugh out loud moments! I mean I liked this book but when I was checking it out, I didn't realize that it was going to be written in a diary type of form. I personaly like books with more of a dialect in them.

Realistic Fiction
Mia may seem like she has it all, since she is a princess. But that could never be more wrong. For starters, she is flunking algebra, even though her step dad is her teacher. Secondly, she has a boyfriend that she doesn't actually even love. Also, she has a lunatic Grandma, and lastly, she is deeply in love with her best friend's brother. Sometimes you just need a little easy reading to make it through the day. And these books so are. Enjoyable for a young teenager, a very easy read for me. I think I keep picking them up because it takes me like 2-3 days to finish them, which is like no time at all. This one picks up where the last one left off.

Never did I imagine that a fourteen year old would teach me how to kiss.
The third time is definitely lucky for Princess Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo, Crown Princess of Genovia. Well, of course, not at first, since Mia is stuck with a boyfriend she likes but not loves. She's in love with her best friend's older brother, Michael. And she's still struggling with her Algebra.

I just love that this is a no-brainer kind of a book. I have been a little leery of books in a series and I honestly thought I wouldn't read past the first one just because I didn't want to take the risk. However, they are such fun, quick reads. I keep grabbing the next one and thinking, "just one more."
Down to this one: I LOVE the scene at the end when she finally shows up at the dance. Fantastic. That scene alone gave this book another star.

I read this as part of my quest to catch up on all those YA books I have missed out on over the past few years. So at the age of 26 I ventured into the teenage section of my new local library and pulled this off the shelf.
Sadly, it isn't the first Princess Diaries book (I had numbers 3, 5 and 9 to choose from), but I watched the first film recently (yes, I really am that behind the times) so I knew the general story, and it isn't difficult to pick up.

I know I'm waaaaaay older than the target audience for these books, but I loved this book, even so. As I was reading this I was thinking, "That's exactly like I was in high school." Well, except I wasn't a princess . . . and I grew up in Missouri, not NYC . . . and my mom wasn't married to my algebra teacher . . . and I wasn't so lucky to have the big brother of my best friend ever like me . . . Okay, I guess this book was nothing like me. But, still I could relate to so many of the feelings Mia...more
ell Mia has a new set of problems to deal with. Before she could never get a boyfriend. And in this volume, she ends up with a boyfriend.. but the problem is that she doesn't like him. She ends up going out with Kenny, her Bio partner, instead of coming clean and telling the truth that she's actually in love with Michael. Despite feeling a bit sorry for Kenny, who proclaims his love a few times, it's a little funny and amusing to watch these characters dance around one another. And I was so glad...more
Mia Thermopolis, is typical teenager in high school who has so many struggles from grades to love, but Mia isn't an "typical" teenager , she's a princess! Her grandmother trains her so hard in order to become the very best princess of Genovia. Mia , the main character, as well the person telling us the story in first person, struggles throughout the book with as you can guess by the title "Love" Mia starts off with what she ever wanted, a boyfriend! Weeks later she realizes that she doesn't even...more
Mia is back and she finally has a boyfriend! Unfortunately it isn't Michael but Kenny her biology partner. Kenny is a really nice guy, but she doesn't love Kenny. But how does she break up with Kenny without hurting his feelings. And she can't tell Michael her true feelings because 1) Michael is her best friend, Lilly's older brother and 2) Michael has a girlfriend, Judith Gershner. But at least since she has a boyfriend, she'll have a date to the cultural diversity dance; it Kenny ever gets aro...more

This is my favorite book in it's series. I loved it! Mia finally gets a boyfriend. However here is problem: she does not want this boyfriend of hers, her bio-partner Kenny, to be her boyfriend at all. Sure Kenny is really nice and a good friend, sure he helps Mia in bio class by passing her notes, sure he likes science fiction and Japanese anime, both of which Mia has not told him she really does not like that much. But he is no Michel Moscovitz, yeah that's right Mia's best friend Lilly's older...more

Mia may be the crown princess of Genovia, but Judith Greshner can clone fruit flies, and hey, that's a lot to compete with.

I really enjoyed this book! Maybe part of it was the fact that I read it while on vacation so I was feeling especially happy and relaxed to begin with. Plus, I love reading on the subway. I'm pretty sure I read this book primarily while riding on the El. Anyway, in this installment Mia is getting ready for her royal introduction to the Genovian people. She is also trying to dump her current boyfriend while simultaneously trying to get it together with Michael. I loved the ending to this book, be...more
I just love The Princess Diaries. Princess In The Spotlight was so fun to read, and we see Mia with her very first boyfriend!
Mia, of course, isn't into Kenny, because she likes Michael. Michael likes her too, so in the end, they end up together! It really is cute, and I'm sure all sorts of things will get in their way. It wouldn't be Mia's life if things didn't get in the way. And after seeing how much she really likes him, it's nice to see he feels the same way about her.

Mia has a BOYFRIEND!!!! Unfortunatly it is not the boy she wants. And so in addition to excrusating Princess lessons with her Grandmere, she has to plan what she is going to say when she is introduced to the Genovian public over Christmas break, worry about how to avoid kissing her so-called boyfriend, and trying to figure out how to get let the love of her life know that she would rather be with him.

Mia just recently found out she is a princess. She is trying to juggle passing her finals, princess lessons with Grandmere, her mother being married to her algebra teacher, her relationship with her father, her new boyfriend, and the boy she really loves. Mia is totally in love with her best friends older brother and she thinks he only sees her as Lily's friend. She is also dating Kenny, a nice boy, that she would rather not ever kiss again. The 2nd book to this series
This book was a good boo in this series. I liked it because I thought that it showed that we can't help who we like. And those who like us, we can't control. But even if we want to hate that person, we really are meant to be their soul mate. And there's a song that says "Fear is the heart of love" And this book takes that quote to the next level.

Not quite as good as the second book but it is still pretty good anyway. Basically Mia is stuck in a love triangle (Kenny likes her but she likes Micheal who likes Judith). The whole story tells of her trying to break up with Kenny and hook up with Micheal on top of being a princess.

The third instalment of the Princess Diaries series was just as good as the previous two. I find that Meg Cabot’s books are good to read if you’re wanting something light and fun.
As always I got quite a few laughs out of Princess in Love. There were a couple of events that occurred that had me laughing quite a bit. It was just kind of outrageous that some of the characters thought some of the things that they had.
