Really good. Widower Alex has managed to carve out a life with his son after the death of his wife. They've got their routine and life is manageable with just the two of them. Then he has to work on a project with Lily Bancroft and everything changes. He's really attracted to her for starters, and that's unexpected because she's so very different from everything he thought he liked in a woman.

Lily is a bit wild and colorful and joyful, but she's also a survivor (view spoiler)
