I bought this book at the strong recommendation of a friend not knowing what to expect of this author. It starts with two very likeable young men applying for apprenticeships with a master wizard. Their talents take them to different lands and pits them against an evil sorcerer who uses daimons to collect powerful magical stones. It was a fast-paced, fun and imaginative story for all ages.
