I came across this book while planning a vacation to Sarasota, and I thought it might be a fun read. There are some interesting historical anecdotes in the book, but I must admit I was distracted by the choppy writing style and the random, personal commentary from the author. It felt a lot like I was reading through someone's interview notes.
