This a great book to work in conjunction with The 12 Houses, by Howard Sasportas, in that it has a similar depth in its speciality on Aspects in the natal chart. There's a good description of each planet to begin and all of the major and minor aspects found in a typical chart are included, as well as how to calculate them. A 'desert island' pick of astrology books, excellent
I'll give it 6 stars. Best book on aspects I have ever looked at. Thoughtful, psychological, clear. I always turn to it when I'm reviewing charts.
Lots of not confident guessing and what sound like the author making assumptions about every aspect based on a single incidence case study seems shaky at best. This happens throughout the book. Overall, a decent aspects cookbook but not a definitive one by any means.
