Several years ago, I read the second in this series, Family Claims. It had been nominated for an Agatha, and I thought it was wonderful, so good, in fact, that I read it a second time. And beginning today, I'll read for the third time. I was disappointed by this first book (that actually was a revised version). Publisher's Weekly liked the description of the Arizona desert.
