A great story about Babe Ruth's childhood. The first chapter does feature a few dark scenes from Babe's childhood. Keep reading and you will find this to be a book full of hope, forgiveness, and second chances.

I feel as if this book was too slow at times and too fast at times. I give this book a two-star review. I would not read it again.

entertaining look at Babe's early life, particularly his time at a boy's school where he learned how to play baseball.
