Wise and optimistic. Focuses on improving one's self and confronting personal demons as well as admitting to and embracing one's humanness. Possesses a spiritual slant without being alienating. Well written and hopeful.

Read it toward the end of a recent relationship. Thought it would be hokey, but it ended up being surprisingly good, and intelligently written. Unexpectedly went through quite a bit of self-examination and personal growth as a result of reading it.
