I expect nothing less from this author when it comes to sex, sex, sex.

A cop and a chef meet cute in their favorite bookstore, and though they say they want to take it slow, you know that’s not gonna happen.

Zero to sixty in 3 seconds flat, they just can’t help themselves. This was fun and didn’t take itself seriously, and I now know where to look whenever I need some of that.

Late night shifts, a neat and clean house, some sports, a night out with regular friends and his life is pretty full. Not so full that he can't enjoy two nights at his favourite bookstore, managed by two old ladies that treat him like a nephew. And in one of these nights he meets Nate, another regular of the bookstore. Nate is a cook and l ...more

This is a recent re-release of a short (now called a Single Shot Classic) which was originally published about 18 months ago. The story is about two men, Garrett who's a small town cop and Nathan, a chef, who meet in a local bookstore late at night. There's an attraction to each other but more importantly they gel in personality and outlook. Nathan offers to show Garrett how to cook and it all follows on from there. I like Drew Zachary's books and this was just such a lovely story with likable c ...more

Born in the wilds of Canada, Drew grew up with an axe in one hand and a book in the other. Drew's love of writing is outshone only by his love of men. Lucky for him, he can combine the two.

From his father, Drew learned how to wield that axe, fix a carburetor and bake a mean can of beans using fire, gas or electricity. From his mother, he learned how to rotate the tires, turn apples into just about
