This is an encouraging, and challenging book by Covenant Seminary professor Dan Doriani. His basic premise is that no man becomes good 1) by resolving to change or 2) by adopting multi-step plans for success in marriage, parenting, work, and play. Rather he challenges us to look at God alone as the paradigm for godly manhood. I especially appreciated his models of love and justice (p.89) and the chapters on "A man and his work" and "A man and his play."
