It is useful to get yourself acquainted, but it's not updated (I think it refers to version 0.69, and nowadays we've come to version 0.72 not to mention the brand new Freenas 8) and it covers the subject in a shallow way. There are a thousand more configurations, settings and possible issues an user might be forced to confront with, which are not even mentioned here.
