I took this book off the shelve because of its title. NEWPORT is a city in the state I live. I saw from there that this was a book actually based out of my little ol' state Rhode Island. What surprised me was to see this was a novel and not a tour guide of places in Newport so I took interest to see what kind of book it was. I read the back and it seemed like it was a good story but it was about lobster markets and a war between these people and revenge between the two shops and I wasn't to ...more
