It's my first time reading Storm, who's the equivalent in Germany of Maupassant in France - a revered master of the short story and the novella, and of his native language. This little book gathers three brilliant stories, including one of Storm's most famous, Immensee (also known as Lake of the Bees), which is, indeed, close to perfection. Hans Theodor Woldsen Storm (14 September 1817 – 4 July 1888) was a German writer.
