Recommends it for: only die-hard Carlin fans
George Carlin used to be great, but he has fallen a long way. This book/tape/CD is not without a few good jokes along the way, but it is more often not-particularly-humorous one-liner observations and his faux- (and not-so-faux-)bitter rants about bizarre pet peeves, religion, and politics that make it seem like he didn't have enough real material for a new book, but put one out anyway. Overall, very disappointing.

Review of "More Napalm and Silly Putty" cd version.

Has some brilliant thoughts, very funny at times.
The most annoying thing is the piano "finishing" sounds - like top hat drum roll only worse.
