The book is straightforward and easy to read. It starts with some light background on body muscle groups and workout theory, but doesn't waste time being academic. It defines exactly what you should be doing in each week: stretches, warmups, exercises, reps, tempo, etc. Illustrations abound.

The simple, explicit direction is what makes it an attractive choice for a workout book.

Of course, I can't truly review it until I see if it works...

Recommends it for: people who want to build a nice body
Wonderful large photos describe each exercise. If you start out as a beginner, the workout progression will take you two years to complete.

Each minor stage takes three weeks during which a range of exercises are prescribed. They are challenging and well planned.

When I finally reach the final advanced workout one day, I'll be back to let you know what the end result was.

An excellent guide, with sections on anatomy, nutrition, stretching, proper form for each exercise, and pre-designed weightlifting programs.
