I loved how this book gave great advice for teens from real (nonperfect people) who can relate, but to be honest, I would rather read a story book. I love putting myself into a mysterious adventure. And after a while of reading this book, it got a little bit depressing. I don't want to live life knowing I have hard consequences to face ahead. I don't want to have to worry about money. Not yet. I want to just enjoy being a kid, and this book doesn't really help.

This is a book about all experiences of teens around the world. Hard times, happy times, embarrassing times, sad times, good times, and more. There are 101 stories, and some of them are poems. I love the poems in this book because the author's voice is really clear. After I read this book, I actually felt like I experienced all of these stories. If you are having a hard time with your friends or family, I strongly recommend you reading this.

Although some of the stories have been unrealistic, it really reflects on how people feel on on another. Middle school is the "brace" of holding children and super sized teenagers together. In the middle, people that are somewhat fitting in and on the bottom are the timid sort that keep to themselves. Besides what others think, it isn't so bad once you get to know someone. Something really dumb and embarrassing could lead you to a great achievement. A secret crush could just bounce back and res...more

I liked the way the book was. There were some stories that I cried. In a story, when the prettiest girl in a school died by car accident. I was so shocked and impressed by the way storyteller explained how the girl was pretty and great and how the storyteller felt when she heard it. But I rated it 4 because it was a little bit too long.

This had wonderful people who shared what happened in their lives. I loved all their stories some were just boring to me and weird but it was a little bit badder than Odd Girl Speaks Out. In that book, there was some really scary things that I shouldn't know about. What really depressed me is that the book gave in some the same people who teaches teens a lesson.

I hope I found this book earlier, when I found it I was about three weeks from graduating middle school. However, I bought it for my sister who is going to be a seventh grader after the summer, hoping that she gets the ideas and lessons in the stories and succeed in middle school. :-)

I think that this book has taught Tweens and teenagers the problems that they have to face during this time and the book is about Tweens just like us sharing their stories.

It told stories about teenage love, bullying, sad momments etc. This book taught me a lesson that i must be nice to my friends and of course, my family. Everything was okay but it was TOO LONG!! I often got bored in the last bit however, i mostly thought it was interesting while reading ^-^

This is a book with listed stories, about Middle School Life and Danger, and has some good guidelines.

Now that I'm experiencing 6th grade, this book will make you feel better in this time. Middle School is very tough, but once you have new friends and teachers, it is a daily routine.

Once I'm done with this school I can check off "Middle School" on my list! Because I was so prepared on the journey.

I think this book teaches kids in middle school not to bully people just because they are different. It affects the people who you bully and their families because i'm sure they notice a change in your behavior.
