Suze has gotten used to ghosts. They wake her up in the middle of the night. They haunt her locker at school. She's even spotted a few down at Carmel Beach. Suze is a mediator, after all, and communicating with the dead is all in a day's work for her. The last thing she ever expected was to fall in love with one: Jesse, a nineteenth-century hottie.

But when she and Paul Sla

NEW UPDATE: 17th APRIL, 2013.

The Mediator Series has been optioned to be made into a movie!!
Here's what Meg updated!

Dear Jesse,

I went back in time. Your time. To the 19th century. I know, I know. It was dangerous and could've cost my life, but I still went. I mean, really, since when did I ever listen to what someone told me to do.Whatever. The real reason for this is to say goodbye. Why? You ask, well because, in the future you and me, well we'll never meet. you know I'm actually smiling right now because, if you were here you'd probably get all mad and say , "Susannah. it's 'you and I.'"

This book annoyed the SHIT out of me. As far as I am concerned this was a horrible ending to a series that started out fantastic. I loved this series when I first started reading it, the main character Suze was tough, sassy, funny as hell and she had a good sense about her (and great taste in shoes, but that is neither here nor there). Point is, I really liked her, she didn't seem like the typical teen I've been reading about so much lately and I liked her, I truly did. But as the series went on ...more
I read this whole series straight through in about two weeks. I loved the whole "I see dead people" thing. It was very interesting and the additional mediator talents revealed in the last three books were even more interesting. For a book to be romantic, the guy and girl have to be separated tragically. The fact that Suze is alive and Jesse is dead was really unique and I enjoyed that throughout the whole series. It ended exactly the way you think its going to end, but it was fun reading it neve ...more

This last book is an astounding grand finale for "The Mediator" series! Very well planned and written! A masterpiece indeed!
The ending is perfect! When I read it, I couldn't forget it! I'm so glad at the same time sad, for it's done.
Over all, it's a beautiful book! A perfect love story everyone will love! It's a kind of love story, whoever will read it, will never forget it! I want to thank Meg Cabot for writing such a novel! She inspired me!
The book is just simply amazing. There's no other word for me to describe about it. Every detail makes it incredibly interesting. Especially it was very touching, I cried a lot reading it, lots of sacrifices, true love...I totally love it. I couldn't leave the book to go to sleep so I read it 'til 2am. It was definitely worth my sleep :P
I love the book. I love Jesse.(haha of course, who wouldn't anway?)and it made me laugh like a crazy person the part where he asked "Soose?". I love Suze too, I
I can honestly say that Twilight was the best book in The Mediator series. I loved all six books, but this one was one of the best books Meg Cabot has ever written. I loved the way she ended The Mediator and this book had more suspense and laughs than its predecessors. Not only was there the really cool supernatural storyline but this one had time travel! This unexpected addition to The Mediator books was awesome to say the least.

Twilight picks up a few months from where Haunted left off. Suze

Okay, I had waited long enough for Meg Cabot to wrap all things up pretty neatly in this series. And it seems to be she had done a very good job of it. I loved it the way it ended up with Jesse.

"If you love something, set it free; if it comes backs it's yours, if it doesn't, it never was." - Richard Bach

Excellent quotation and that's what this book's story is set on. But..

Will Suze have it in her to really set Jesse, who is the love of her life, free?
Is this quotation applicable for Jesse, who i

Meg Cabot has done it again! She's saved the best for last with the final book to The Mediator series: Twilight. I really enjoyed The Mediator series. Twilight was by far my favorite because all of the other books led up to this one. It had a lot of suspense in it and kept me wanting more. I've never read so much in my life reading the series.

Suze Simon is back, along with her new found enemy Paul Slater. Suze has got to find a way to stop Paul from hurting her ghost boyfriend, Jesse. Even thou
Suze annoys me so much this book. I feel like it could be a good 100 pages shorter and better if they would take out all the whining she does about how if Paul saves Jesse then they will never meet, seriously over and over. Ok we GET IT! She even goes on to say how he is the only thing she has in her life that makes it worth living at some point. That's really great that your family and friends you don't care at all about, just your boyfriend, am I reading the other Twilight here? She spends eno ...more
The conclusion to an otherwise great series left a lot to be desired despite its happy ending. I often thought Paul's introduction brought this series down a notch. It would've been different if he was a formidable foe, but he was used more as a foil to Jesse&Suze's relationship for the stupid love triangle angle. I didn't like that Paul's previous involvement in trying to kill/hurt her and her friends was sort of glossed over and Cabot had Suze lusting after him despite his obvious psychopa ...more
Great series! Great ending! I had a few tears even! Once I knew she could time travel I kind of expected this ending and was surprised Suze didn't think of it herself instead of by accident. Glad we got to see everything work out afterwards and the author didn't just cut it off like some do as soon as you could guess what followed. Beautiful way to end the book. I wish there was more!
Suze&Jesse♥ =)
You might like it if you're a girly girl who is still waiting for her Edward or Jacob but if you are a feminist and are into action-packed stuff, you might just want to throw it out of the balcony.
A really good ending to one of my favorite series. I read this book in 5 hours, and I couldn't put it down. The only downside of it is that there are no other Mediator books after it.

Suze is a ghost mediator who can see dead people and helps them figure out what's keeping them bound to the earth. In the last book she discovered she can also jump into the spirit world whenever she wants, taking anyone with her (effectively killing them if they're not already dead). And in this book, she finds out she can also travel through time--just by thinking about it.

In fact, Paul, Suze's fellow mediator/worst enemy/sometime love interest is threatening to do just that. He's planning to
In the final book of the Mediator series, Suze is trying frantically to stop Paul from managing to get rid of Jesse. Suze has kept her end of her bargain with Paul, and in a twisted way, he's keeping his promise not to kill Jesse. Paul is determined to do something much, much worse - Save Jesse. See if Jesse never dies, Suze will never meet him and that is something Suze can't bear. Sucks being in love with a ghost.

Way back in book 5 I thought I could see how Cabot was going to resolve the whole

Twilight is one of the series book written by Meg Cabot who is the best-selling author of teen series. Susannah Simon, “ Suze”, is a mediator which means she is a liaison between the living and the dead. She sees dead people and believes her power was used to help the ghosts to solve their problems that had been keeping them from moving on. Suze met this ghost boy named Jesse who died in 17th century and falls in love with each other. However there is someone who keeps them from love each other. ...more
She sees dead people. Talks to them, too. In fact, her boyfriend is one (and he just happens to haunt her bedroom). As a mediator, Suze is a liason between the world of the living and dead. Her skills are still developing, as are those of her classmate and fellow mediator Paul, who relentlessly pursues Suze in spite of the fact that she is love with Jesse, a 150 year old ghost. When Paul discovers that one talent of mediators is the ability to time travel, he decides to eliminate his competition ...more
Poor Suze, she never seems to catch a break. She loves Jesse, her ghost boyfriend, but since he's from the 19th century, he's very proper and she wonders if they will ever get past whatever base is past hot kissing. And there's Paul, the fellow mediator, who Suze is alternately drawn to and repelled by. He's just bad incarnate, using his mediator abilities for his selfish means.
What I like best about this series is how normal Suze is in being a teenager with the added *agh* factor of having gho

Tangled Speculation
This books starts to focus on the romance as central aspect of the story instead of as an interesting subplot. Although I liked the time travel aspect, I think that Suze seems to fall into the "love makes you stupid" trope and I was sad to see her being more of a victim and less of the kick a$$ young lady I've come to enjoy. Don't get me wrong, she's still a fighter. The overall story is still interesting too. There were just a few "cringe worthy" moments (which to be fair is typical of many YA ...more
