This is a children friendly autobiography on Stephen Hawking. He is a renown theoretical physicist and cosmologist. This book discusses the extraordinary life of how Hawking became interested with science through vivid real-life photographs as well as colorful cartoons. It contains a variety of scientific terminologies that students may find beneficial. A very brief and upbeat intro to Hawking and his work, for young children. Here's my favorite line: "Like any good scientist, Stephen changed his mind about certain things when new and better information came along that disagreed with some of his original theories." Sort of says it all.

This was an interesting children's book with several neat pictures of Stephen Hawking. the book is far more concerned with Hawking's excentric biography than his science.
