Prior to reading I only knew of Mr. Duchovny from, of course, The X-Files, doing some movie called Evolution, and then having another strictly Cable (I think) TV Series: California (for which I have never watched nor know what the plot line/premise is or where its been). I also know how he bitched about the rain on the West Coast of British Columbia and ended up convinced Chris Carter (the Creator of The X-Files) to abandon Vancouver as the base of operations and main shooting site.
