I have no experience with any of Dorothy Morrison’s other non-fiction works, so I cannot compare her writing to anything she’s done before. On its own merits, the premise of this book is intriguing, but once cracked open, I found so many things to dislike about the book, that the effort it takes to look past all that just isn’t worth it.

Take some strong & sassy folks, toss in a couple 100+ year old Hoodoo tricks, weave together memories of the past, and add a dash of romance and danger, and you have Lucinda's Web.
Although the first person narrative POV moves back and forth between the main characters, it was still very easy to follow along. Ms. Morrison's writing style gives you more of a feeling that you are a witness to events and privy to innermost thoughts as they unfold, instead of just sitting back and reading a good...more

A hundred year old curse reaches out from the grave to ensnare Tess Logan in a tragic cycle of love, lust, betrayal and murder in Lucinda's Web. A bitter rivalry for affection led to the laying of spells whose power reignites when Tess moves opposite a cemetery, and then meets Luke Benson. As the curse strengthens, Tess's friends are drawn into it's web with each having a part to play in the unfolding drama. Unless they can solve the century old mystery and destroy the charmed objects they are a...more
Something witchy this way comes….okay corny, but true! Lucinda’s Web is pagan author Dorothy Morrison’s first foray into paranormal fiction. Admittedly, I am a long time fan of Morrison’s occult books that she is known for world wide. Several of which have graced my bookshelves for years. Imagine my delight when a favorite pagan author’s newest book showed up on my doorstep. Almost like magic…okay okay, it was the UPS guy who brought it, but still!...

While some of you may know me as the author of Lucinda's Web, Everyday Magic, The Craft, Utterly Wicked and many other books, you probably don't know much else about me. And a good number of you probably have no earthly idea who I am at all. So, why not read a little further and let me introduce myself!
