Short and sweet. The drawings were wonderful too.

It's hard to read this book without singsonging the repeating words.

My only annoyance was the forced rhyming of sidle with tile. They may look similar but they are not pronounced the same so sticking a few non-rhyming words in the middle of the book really broke the flow of it. My baby didn't seem to notice or mind though so It's all good.

Intriguing that a book about a banana slug sliming his way through the garden into a house and back into the garden can not only be fun to read outloud (i.e.: onomatopoeia) but, a bit endearing!
