Victoria Woodhull is certainly a fearless feminist as the title suggests. This biography for young readers gives an abbreviated account of Woodhull's life: from her beginnings in poverty to joining the upper class--not to mention those two runs for U.S. President when women weren't yet able to vote, much less run. Woodhull's life was not easy and she had to work for everything she achieved--she was a healer, a spiritualist, a newspaper publisher, stockbroker, writer, and speaker. She fought tire...more
