This is one of my favorite kid books. We took it out from the library many times. Nathan spends the summer with his grandparents and they let him discover the magic of fireflies, just as his father did when he was Nathan's age. It's a gentle, slow book that is great for bedtime. The illustrations are as beautiful as the story, as they capture the expressions on the characters faces perfectly. Nathan is adorable! Good for ages 3 and above.
This books is about a young boy named Nathan who experience life with his grandparents as his father did and learns to love and collect fireflies. The illustrations is this book do a good job in bring emotion and the story to life.
