Recommends it for: Hawaiian Lovers, Hopeless Romantics
A beautiful book with short stories, photos, poems and the last chapter Resources for Romance (tropical romantic ideas for love). I really enjoyed this book. Starts with the Hawaiian Gods, moves to the marriage of Elizabeth & Captain James Cook. Then on to the era of the missionaries, Hawaiian Royals, and Picture Brides.

Having visited the Iolani Palace & the room where the Queen was imprisoned for 9 months. I enjoyed the story of her conflicts with her mother-in law during her marriage.
