This children's book attempts to explain severe food allergies to kids affected by them. It is a good attempt, and I hope Gina Clowes writes more books like this. It gets into the emotional aspect of the isolation one can feel when they cannot join others in special celebrations. My toddler son loves this book and seeing other kids that have to bring their own snacks to school and parties and wear the medical id bracelet.
