What I like most about this book is its focus on what it is like to be a kid with diabetes - not where to set your basal or in-depth analysis of the dawn effect - but what it is like to be told you can't have what other's are having, can't go on the school trip, be blamed for high bg numbers, worry about complications, get nagged by your parents (OK your mom)... Lots of good insights fo parents who don't have diabetes and have no idea what high or low blood sugar actually feels like. There is so ...more
