Excellent terse description of XSLT with simple to navigate reference. I found some of the descriptions of the grammar of XPath and XSLT patterns awkward, which seems an irony for a system for handling grammars, but I assume that is a consequence of the history behind XSLT

This little pocket reference actually has just about everything you need in it, even to start learning. While the Tidwell book is more complete and has many more examples, this pocket reference is amazingly concise and complete.

Another inexpensive pocket reference, but a great value. These are my favorites for their convenience too.
